Dicalcium Phosphate Anhydrous is a white, odorless, tasteless powder.
It is practically insoluble in water, bat is readily soluble in dilute hydrochloric and
nitric acid. It is insoluble in alcohol.
In nature occur as the mineral monetite.

Applications
Dicalcium phosphate is mainly used in toothpaste and as an additive in food and pharmaceutical products to help contribute to better health. In daily chemical industry, it is used as frictional agent for making top quality tooth paste and evidently enhance the paste's coefficient of friction, reinforce detergent powder, in food industry, also used as calcium additive, pharmaceutical bulking agent. In food processing industry, it is used as leavening agent, dough modifier, buffer, nutritional supplement, emulsifier, stabilizer, Such as leavening for flour, cake, pastry, bake, double acid type flour color modifier, modifior forfried food, also used as nutrient additive or modifior for biscuit, milk powder, cold drink, ice cream power.

Storage terms
It should be stored in a ventilative and dry warehouse instead of in the open air, kept away from water, moisture and sunlight during transport, handled with care, so as to avoid damage to bags. Furthermore, it should be stored separately from poisonous substances.
